LEAD YOUR TEAM
We are excited to announce a new opportunity for middle school athletes to serve as junior captains!
Middle school student grades 7-8 in the fall
At least one year on the team prior to serving as a captain
Proven leadership skills and demonstrated engagement with the team
May be a captain for multiple years
ELIGIBILITY
Attend an average of one practice per week
Offer support to new riders by welcoming them to practice, checking in during practice, making sure they have someone to talk with after practice
Attend middle school race days
Help captains with overall captain responsibilities
Be receptive to advice and coaching from captains
RESPONSIBILITIES
Applications for 2026 will be accepted through March 15th
Head coach will interview candidates beginning late March
